Product Marketing Manager

FLEXE is a team of technology entrepreneurs and logistics experts headquartered in Seattle. Our mission is to provide software and services that makes it uber easy to scale & operate warehousing and fulfillment centers. FLEXE is transforming the $1.4T(!) logistics industry.

The Product Marketing Manager will be a key contributor on the FLEXE Product Marketing team to develop our story in the market. This includes working with senior leadership to develop go-to-market strategy, working with sales to compose powerful selling stories and aligning with marketing communications to promote the core narratives that advance FLEXE’s position in the marketplace. Product Marketing at FLEXE owns the structuring, description and positioning of all FLEXE products and the overall platform offering. This role is integral to those efforts, inter-organizational communications and coordination.

In addition to strong writing, visual and analytical skills, the candidate must have demonstrated experience in the SaaS technology industry.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Iteration and communication of FLEXE positioning and messaging internally & externally
  • Expand solution and product messaging for use in marketing, sales presentations, thought leadership and management communications
  • Participate in the development of product marketing and communication strategy
  • Support Product Management team in the publishing and communication of product roadmaps
  • Create go-to-market planning including yearly business goals, product marketing strategies and budgeting
  • Coordination of market and competitive research
  • Providing content for global marketing initiatives such as the Web site, collateral and demand generation campaigns
  • Serve as a conduit between FLEXE customers, sales and product development in order to communicate and prioritize needs

Specific job requirements include:

  • Minimum of 5 years of increasing responsibility in B2B marketing roles with specific product marketing expertise
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a SaaS or enterprise technology business required
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements
  • Ability to clearly articulate the company’s brand, story and business value to both internal and external audiences
  • Possesses high sense of urgency and strong desire for excellence
  • Excellent writing, visual and presentation/communications skills
  • Proven success in marketing roles requiring extensive interaction working cross-functionally in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment
  • Communication – ability to clearly and simply articulate ideas, framing problems and solutions.
  • Change management - demonstrated ability to drive organizational change
  • Supply chain and/or logistics experience a strong plus
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree with advanced degree preferred (e.g. MBA, MA)
